Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Vesper App (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Vesper: Bible Widget (“the App”) and this website. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

What we collect

The App does not ask you to create a traditional account. It creates an anonymous user ID so subscriptions, previews, and access can work. The name you enter during onboarding, favorites, and widget state stay on your device and are not sent to us.

If you email us, we receive whatever you send (usually an email address and your message).

We collect an anonymous user ID, a device identifier, device and app details, subscription and purchase status, product interactions, onboarding choices, and crash or diagnostic data. We use this data to provide the App, limit the free preview to one per device, understand product usage, and diagnose problems.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through In-App Purchases. We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Superwall presents the paywall and receives subscription status from Apple.

How we use information

Third-party services

Those services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Tracking and advertising

We use Apple Ads attribution data to understand whether an App Store search ad led to an install. Superwall processes this attribution for analytics. We do not display third-party advertisements, share data with data brokers, use IDFA, or track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Retention and deletion

On-device data lasts until you delete the App. Server and service data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, and fraud prevention. Support emails are kept as long as needed to reply and meet legal duties. Deleting the App removes its on-device data but may not remove server records. To request deletion of those records, email support@vesperbible.app.

Children

The App is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date on this page.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
